Confusion may soon hit the present ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State as some of the recently sacked Commissioners of governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration were visibly spotted at the Owerri meeting venue of African Democratic Congress(ADC) last Saturday.

Our reporter who was present at the meeting approached one of the sacked commissioners who turned to submit that he was a guest to the hospitality outfit.

While others were uncomfortable and unsmiling faces when Journalists tried to ascertain reasons for attending the ADC meeting.
Briefing newsmen shortly after the meeting, ADC South East National Vice Chairman, Barr. Ignatius Nlem disclosed that over twenty thousand members of two major political parties, All Progressives Congress, APC, PDP including some of the recent sacked Commissioners under Senator Hope Uzodimma’s government have shown enough interest and seriously romancing their party.
Barr Nlem described ADC as the only credible and alternative party that will bring good governance in Nigeria.

“We had a successful meeting and you people saw very notable persons from both APC and PDP,and we are going to make the date of their official decamping knwn to the general public. Our party, ADC is the third largest party in Nigeria, and we never merged with any other political party since inception as our visions for Nigeria is nothing but good governance as against the ruling party with a selfish interest. We the party stakeholders have also slated to hold our Congresses in June, 2021 for a better preparation ahead of 2023 general elections.

We are not opposing the government of Senator Hope Uzodimma, although he is doing his best but that was not enough to give Imo State the needed good governance which can only come from ADC. We are also in support of the government decisions to make Imo roads motorable, but ADC in 2023 will readminister, reshape and introduce a system of meaningful government to the people of Imo State”. Barr. Nlem submitted.

On the insecurity, Barr Nlem gave kudos to the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for his proactiveness “At a time human rights there is no middle ground, the law is clear not clever, his measures to curb insecurity must be appreciated”, he said.

Also speaking, ADC Imo State Chairman, Chief Alphonsus Obijuru said that the long witnessed bad government in Nigeria is caused by the ruling parties’ poor and porous foundations, but ADC has come to heal the wounds.

“We have opened a DNA and quarantined Centres to teach and organize all our aspirants and those nursing ambitions to contest for elective positions to acquire the needed experience and technical known how to effectively and positively lead the people into the promise land”,he disclosed.

In their contributions, the State Secretary and publicity Secretary of the party, Comd. Bryian Diamond Agu and Hon. Remigus Ibegbulem respectively pointed out that ADC will sanitize all the polluted politicians who may come across the party for victorious acting come 2023 general elections.
