Senate Minority Leader Sen. Enyinaya Abaribe has blamed the wave of insecurity in the country on injustice melted on Nigerians by the ruling All Progressive Congress.,APC led administration.
He said President Muhammadu Bihari has failed to address the problem of insecurity, but has promoted sectionalism in Nigeria.
Abaribe disclosed this in Owerri on Wednesday, at the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Imo branch 2021 Law Week.
He said the President was highly selective in his appointment, which he said marginalized other section of the country.
He said the increasing insecurity in the South-East was a clear game plan to sabotage and present the Igbo’s as terrorist.
“Igbo’s are not terrorist, the are peaceful people, they build but does not destroy.
“South-East is the safest place in the entire country, but today, bad leadership and selective approach to governance has led to the increasing insecurity in the zone”, he said.
He said Nigeria has a liberalised policy which encouraged influx of foreigners in the country.
“Another mejor cause of insecurity in the country is the influx of foreigners without proper data.
“Nigeria is bleeding and needed urgently approach to correct the anomalies, poverty is ravaging the nation and those in authority are not doing much to solve the problems”, he said
