Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma was the cynosure of all eyes when he joined other governors on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) to pay the traditional sallah homage to President Muhammadu Buhari at his private home in Daura.
Gov. Uzodinma was spotted wearing an expensive wristwatch allegedly worth over $785,000.
Pointblanknews.com checks reveal that the wristwatch, a Jacob & Co. Astronomia Skye White Diamond 18 Pieces Limited as when checked online is worth about $785,496 US dollars.
Converted to the Nigerian Naira, the governor must have shelled out a whopping N478m to obtain the limited piece.
When pressed for a reaction, an indegene of Imo State wondered why the governor would display crass reckless in the face of suffering of the people of the state.
” It just shows the level of wickedness on the part of the people we call leaders. Go to Imo and see wether there has been meaningful development since he came.
“Agreed he was wealthy before he became governor but he cannot swear that this is his personal money”.
