APC Reps from Imo defects to PDP

A former Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and member representing Nkwerre/ Nwangele/Isu/Njaba Federal Constituency, Ugonna Ozurigbo, has left the All Progressives Congress for the Peoples Democratic Party.

Immediately he joined PDP, the federal lawmaker announced his intention to seek a second term in office.

The lawmaker, who was said to be a loyalist of a former governor of the state and presidential hopeful, Rochas Okorocha, made the declaration on Saturday at his Umuozu ward in Nwangele Local Government Area of the state.

Ozuruigbo, who was joined by his political associates and supporters, said his reelection would further position his constituency for more dividends.
