The 326 wards’ youth leaders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Anambra state, have threatened to boycott its primaries on June 23, if the party excluded them as delegates.
They called on Gov. Willie Obiano to address the issue of their non inclusion as delegates before it is too late.

Comrade Eziokwu Magnus Eziokwu, Chairman of state youth leaders of the party made the disclosure on Wednesday in Awka shortly after they unanimously endorsed Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji, as their choice candidate for the Nov. 6 governorship election in the state.

“We are the life engine of APGA, as youths. I am still wondering why the party has refused to include us as party delegates, in spite of our huge contribution to its survival, particularly in the grassroots mobilization,” he said.

Eziokwu commended the governor for his uncommon projects across the 181 communities in the state, including the International Cargo and Passengers Airport, Umueri.

Honourable Umeoji, who is currently the serving member of the House of Representative, representing Aguata Federal Constituency thanked the youths for endorsing him.

He assured them that the party, under the leadership of Governor Obiano and the National Chairman of the party, Chief Victor Oye, would provide a level playing ground for all the aspirants during the Primaries.

He also assured the youths that, if elected, his administration would carry everyone along irrespective of any affiliations.
